                                    Based in Paris, Matthieu is Global Head of AXA IM Select (formerly known as Architas) since March 2020. His role continues an extensive career that has seen him work in 8 different AXA Group entities during his dedicated tenure of more than 25 years.
                

Matthieu started his career at Ernst & Young, where he was a Senior Manager in Audit and Consulting for 6 years, before joining AXA Group in 1995, initially as a Financial Controller. Matthieu then went on to lead an international career with AXA, including his role as Chief Financial Officer of AXA Japan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Director of Strategic Development at AXA Europe and other senior positions that spanned across Asia, Europe and North America, focusing predominantly on the Life & Savings and Asset Management segments.

Matthieu is a graduate of ESLSCA Business School in Paris with a major in Finance. He later undertook executive courses in Strategic Marketing at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Digital Leadership at The University of Lausanne.
