What types of roles do you offer?

We actively invest for the long-term so that our clients, our people and our communities can move forward. We offer various positions going from analysts, sales manager, fund manager, risk and compliance positions, developers, and more. All our opportunities are available on our job offer website

What type of early careers roles do you offer?

We offer Students and Graduates: 

  • internship opportunities of a 6-month duration across all our primary offices (Paris, London, Frankfurt, Milan, Madrid, Hong Kong)
  • work placements of usually up to a 12-month duration, in our London office.
  • apprenticeships in between 1 to 3 years
  • graduate positions
  • VIE (international intern in a company) opportunities in a wide variety of fields such as Sales, Finance, Technology, support functions, among others. 

What are the top traits you look for in a potential candidate?

The specific questions we ask will depend on the position you’re applying for, but all our questions are intended to help us understand your capabilities and potential to grow. Generally, we look for a strong desire to learn, willingness to make an impact, a passion for collaboration, and a desire to excel.

What is your recruitment process?

The recruitment process usually lasts a couple of weeks, with different interview stages and a final HR interview at the end of the process.

We use a variety of recruitment methods including participating in on-campus recruitment activities, organising corporate presentations across different universities, posting opportunities on job boards, and liaising with Career Services representatives. The recruitment is an 8 steps process from application to your arrival at AXA IM. 

Our selection process is in 10 steps from application to your arrival at AXA IM. It requires candidates to meet with the hiring manager, a representative from Human Resources, and members of the team in which they will be working. You may be asked to undertake a test to demonstrate your knowledge and skills in a particular area. 

How can I be prepared for an interview?

Is it possible to do interview by video?

When required, we set up interview by video.

Will I have to pass a technical or language test?

For some positions, we can ask the applicant to undertake a language test, or a technical test, or sometimes a case study.

How many applications can I submit? Can I apply for more than one position and locations at a time? 

You can submit multiple applications, and you can apply to multiple locations. However you will be selected only for one recruitment process at the same time. Please visit our job offer website to find the right opportunity you are looking for. 

If I apply for two roles, will I have to undertake two recruitment processes?

You will have to undertake two different recruitment processes as these are two different positions.

Will I be notified if my application is rejected? Will I receive feedback if my application is unsuccessful?

You will receive a notification if your application is rejected, and you will receive a negative feedback if you are unsuccessful after an interview.

Where can I find an update on the status of my application?

Once you apply, you will be contacted if your application is successful. However if you are not contacted within three weeks you can consider that your application did not match the requirements.

I can’t find any suitable job on the website; can I still apply as free entrant?

You can fill the free application on our job offer website with your CV and information about the position you are looking for.

What if I need a visa?

There are many jobs for which the company might be able to sponsor visas, depending on the requirements of the job and the qualifications of the candidate. Feel free to apply to any jobs you're qualified for. If the role is appropriate for visa sponsorship and you're qualified for the job, the recruiter will let you know how to proceed with the interview process. Please note the recruiters will work within the legal requirements for visa's which vary from country to country.

Will AXA IM retain my data in their files if my application is unsuccessful?

At AXA IM, we respect data privacy. On the application process, you have the choice to withdraw your personal information.

Does AXA IM allow flexible work schedules?

We work in a way that we call "Smart Working". This enables us as a business to work in partnership with our employees to work in a way that works for everyone; including our customer! In more recent times the majority of our roles are set up as a hybrid of working from home and in the office (dependant on role and business). 
Employees regularly work with their managers on a case-by-case basis to evaluate flexible work arrangements. If flex-work is important to you, be sure to mention it to your recruiter so they can find out if it’s possible in the role you’re pursuing.
