AXA Investment Managers appoints Rachel Basarab-Horwath as Institutional Sales Director

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) announces the appointment of Rachel Basarab-Horwath as Institutional Sales Director, effective immediately.

Based in London, Rachel will be leading and developing opportunities with institutional investors including corporates, pension schemes and professional trustee relationships. Rachel joins AXA IM from Mercer where she spent the last two years as a Sales Director and a Senior Investment Consultant.

Biography

Rachel Basarab-Horwath joins AXA IM from Mercer where she spent the last two years as a Sales Director and a Senior Investment Consultant. Rachel’s previous roles include Director of EMEA Client Services for the Cash Business at State Street Global Advisors and Director of Global Accounts at BlueBay Asset Management.

Prior to joining AXA IM, Rachel was the highest revenue generator and has also received the highest scores from her clients during a period of challenging performance and winner of the Saleswoman/Marketer of the Year 2019 at the Professional Pensions Women in Pensions Awards 2019.

Rachel holds an MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass University and bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield.
