Multi-Asset old
What is Multi-Asset investing?
Multi-Asset investing refers to using a broad range of diversified asset classes, within a single strategy, to help achieve a specific outcome.
An ongoing evolution
Multi-Asset investing has developed significantly over the years. No longer is it just about blending equities and bonds but instead encompasses a wide variety of asset classes, such as commodities and even derivatives.
Our approach to Multi-Asset
Multi-asset is comprised of a number of research teams, investment professionals and solutions experts whose common mission is to look for the best combination of asset classes and investment management techniques to meet a particular client need - including a focus on Responsible Investment (RI). Not only have we begun mainstreaming Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) dimensions in portfolio management, our team also advises institutions on their Responsible Investment (RI) policy, organises their engagement activities, and runs specific RI reports on the footprint of their investments.
Understanding our clients is central to what we do. Acting as a solutions centre, the multi-asset team combines products from AXA IM’s own platforms as well as those from external vehicles to create a package with what we believe is the right asset allocation to meet each client’s objectives and risk profile.
This can take the form of:
- Off-the-shelf products
- Customised solutions
