Editor, Euromoney Conferences

  • As Editor of Euromoney Conferences for the last decade, Mark has had responsibility for the content of all of Euromoney's conferences around the world. Subjects dealt with range from economics, finance, business and politics.

  • Before that, Mark was a practising journalist for some 15 years. Most recently, he was editor of the New York-based Global Finance magazine.

  • Mark has worked on a variety of Euromoney Institutional Investor titles, including editing the EuroWeek newspaper.

  • He also has written on a wide variety of economic, financial and other topics for many domestic and international titles.

  • Before becoming a journalist, Mark worked in the UK public service, advising ministers and working on policy issues in the health and social security areas.

  • Like many journalists, Mark has married into the trade: his wife works for the BBC.

  • A graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge, Mark remains eager to apply the lessons of history to contemporary issues.

  • As a follower of Chelsea football club, he is keenly aware of the advantages and disadvantages of global capital flows.
