Huge demographic, environmental and economic changes are influencing the political and social drive to find clean technology solutions –the global CleanTech market is predicted to expand to $1.3 trillion by 2020, up from $601bn in 2014 .
What does CleanTech mean for investors?
With the shift to clean technology, some traditional energies will naturally become obsolete – so-called ‘stranded assets’. But those businesses that are prepared to adapt could see significant growth potential.
