AXA Investment Managers strengthens UK equities team

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) today announces the appointment of John King to the AXA IM Framlington UK equities desk as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. Based in London, John will support the seven strong UK equities team, reporting to George Luckraft, Head of UK equities at AXA IM.

John has extensive experience of the UK equities market having spent the past six years in UK equity sales, first at N+1 Singer, then at UBS and most recently at Jefferies. Prior to this he spent five years at Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant where he earned his ACCA qualification.

George Luckraft, Head of UK equities at AXA IM, said: “John’s enthusiasm for the UK equities sector makes him a good fit and his experience means he can hit the ground running. We are excited to have him on board.”

    About John King

    John King joined AXA IM on 1 August 2016 to support the UK equities team. He joins from Jefferies where he was a Senior Vice President in the UK Equity Sales team. Prior to this, he spent two years at UBS and two years at N+1 Singer, both as part of the UK equities team.  Before this he obtained his ACCA qualification while spending five years at Ernst and Young as a Senior Consultant. John holds a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Leeds.
