AXA Hearts in Action: AXA IM’s commitment to the community

 

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM), following the AXA Group’s initiative, has made the commitment to support the community by contributing to ease the lives and help the growth of vulnerable children and adults.

 

Our commitment follows our conviction, core to our Responsible Investment strategy, that extra-financial factors influence and contribute to a company's financial performance and development.

 

At AXA IM, we believe we bring most to the community by acting as partners with our employees. One of our main competitive assets is the quality of the people we employ. As such, it is key for us to enable and encourage our staff to donate time and know-how, as well as to match their financial and fund-raising efforts.

 

 

Invest and Give with leading fund managers

 

AXA Investment Managers is participating in the invest and give initiative with other leading fund managers in the UK to provide an investment opportunity, which offers the potential for capital growth over the long term for investors, whilst providing young people a brighter future through the generation of donations for the Princes Trust.

 

Examples of our activity from around the world

 

 Paris - France
SIFA SIFA finances companies and organisations which help people who have been out of work for long periods of time to re-integrate into the workforce. Teams of volunteers offer time and know-how to these companies and organisations and help them build the necessary action plans.
 London - UK
AXA Hearts in Action

Staff in our UK offices are committed to supporting children and young adults over the long-term and currently donate to Everychild and Whizz Kidz by organising fund raising activities including marathons, book sales, quiz nights, cake sales and auctions.  They also collect unwanted clothes for Dress for Success, and organise volunteer days at local schools to paint murals in the playground, and “brighten children’s lives” with fun days.
 Hong-Kong - China
Volunteering

Once a year, the AXA IM employees based in Hong-Kong are given a day off work by the company to help PHAB (Physically-Handicapped Able-Bodied).
 Orinda - USA
Donation Each employee of AXA Rosenberg may make charitable cash donations to any qualified non-profit charitable organizations that AXA Rosenberg will match on a dollar for dollar basis.
