Jason Langley then presented his views on the securitisation of renewable energy projects which served as a warm up to his keynote address to the London Accord Spring Conference on May 18th:
- Renewable energy assets have a suitable cost profile for debt finance, - How the combination of predictable income – from feed-in tariffs – coupled with low variable costs means that significant levels of debt can be used to finance the high upfront costs of the renewable energy plant.
